Linux version...

Dunno if any of you has tried this in linux but mine doesn't even start. It just flashes the screen once and then nothing. Somewhat disappointing, especially as I think Harbringer worked fine?

Have you tried to launch it through Steam or just standalone?

The game is developed with a different game engine than Harbinger. It has been tested on Linux and should work, but never know if some distro doesn't like it. Which one are you using?

Please try launching through Steam if you haven't done so already.

If the above does not work you can also try editing playerprefs and play the game in windowed mode, this can very well solve the issue. But downside is that it is windowed.

open file ~/.config/unity3d/Bugbyte/Battlevoid_ Sector Siege/prefs

And edit

... is fullscreen mode type int... Set it to 0.

Running Linux Mint, starting from Steam. Yeah I've had problems with fullscreen on different games before, I'll test the window-mode when I have the time.

Uh. I don't have such file. Only files in "~/.config/unity3d/Bugbyte/Battlevoid_ Sector Siege" are ".directory" and "Player.log"

Maybe that's the problem? Installed through Steam like any other game.

...Though Player.log has info on some errors, want to read it?

The prefs file is essentially a saved preferences file, perhaps nothing has been saved yet since the game won't launch. You can send us the log to [email protected]!
