Please allow buyable alien Point Defense & Bays

I have always loved fighters/drones in sci-fi games and i am all for this

And yes. Buyable alien point-defenses would be an nice addition also. For a starters i think alien drones could be just like alien weapons with better stats and maybe different look. And more types of fighters/drones would be welcome like you said gatling ones etc

Also one thing i would like to take from First Contact would be configuring fighters like it. Equipping shields and selecting weapons altough i know it would mean (almost) complete overhaul of drone/fighter system.
