Ship and Weapon changes

Something that would have come in handy today, having three spare weapons on hand but not enough scrap for the feisty new ship I wanted . . . it would be nice if there were a cargo ship available - cheap, not too quick, and defenseless. It would be for the sole purpose of carrying cargo, so I don't have to leave behind those ever-so-useful beacons when I'm running short.

Leaving equipment in space is an option, but more than once I've lost track of my cache.
