So just got the email with access to the early access. Might have gotten one way earlier but lost to my never ending inbox.
Just played the PC Version a bit and still just as fun as the mobile version. A few things though that I would like to see improved or tweaked is the XP system. I feel like when i completely clear a sector or get mission complete the XP reward is not substantial to the time put in. XP/Hr or however you want to analyze it. I dont like being penalized for going slow and jumping in and out of systems to lose points per turn (only 10). I can get way more xp just by loading hard jumping into the first sector getting spaced and collecting the free 1000xp. I think the current XP system is great for a mobile platform where games are short and you play over days and weeks and before you know it have the highest rank but on PC I would like Ranks to come quicker if possible as I do have many other games I enjoy playing just as much as this one. I really enjoy this game and by no means is anything i stated above going to stop me from loving this game but just wanted to throw my opinion into the mix. Also would it be possible to incorporate ship skins? Like choose my ships colors?
Yup - putting some hours into it, and enjoying it.
Some sessions I barely make it out of the first sector. Others I make it quite far before biting off more than I can chew I need to invest in the escape pod or transporter to avoid having the head of my fleet cut off! One thing I would say, when a new Ship joins the group it says "Ship Joined Party", would it perhaps make more sense to say "Ship joining Formation" or "Fleet"? Are there any individual ships that allow for multiple squadrons of fighters?
@JustinKase. Have you ever made it more than 4 galaxies in the Endless mode?
If you mean hangars, then yes. There are ships that can have multiple hangars.

Been having a lot of fun - and still can't get past 3 galaxies before I do something stupid

Not sure if it is too late, but it would be very interesting if the different races could have different colored lasers, and when you incorporate their technology into your ships, the different colors would show the different tech you have. Not a huge thing but maybe do that with all the different tech. Just a thought.
@MindSlayer. Yeah, that would be cool! Don't have time for it but will keep in mind. It's a cool idea. Game to be released February 24th guys! Test out the new version!
The background music doesn't crash the game for me anymore.
But after playing for an extended time, maybe 2 hours or so, the pointer turns invisible and makes the game unplayable. Alt-tabbing out does not help. Has happened twice now. |
