Carbon is a resource that can be obtained through Mining or Trading.

Uses
Carbon is used inside a CO2 Producer to produce Carbon Dioxide.
Carbon is also used in combination with Base Metals inside a Metal Refinery to craft Steel Plates.
Crafting
Carbon cannot be crafted. It can only be obtained by mining from an asteroid or trading.
