Just saw that I am ranked #1 in Hard for IOS! Score 11,868. Has anyone else beat that score?

While the ships you can get or recruit are all really cool I would love if some alien ships could join up as well. It would be neat having a Wanderer Maurauder (light carrier name suggestion) or a Celestial ion frigate fighting in the fleet. Of course they would have to be won over somehow...

Anyway it is something I hope to see in the future.

I been playing this game a lot over the last few weeks and something that I think that could be improved on is the fleet managment.

Two changes I think would be good are:

Ship class slots
Currently you can have 3 ships of any type in your fleet.. I think an improvement to this set up would be to change it to 3 capital ships and 2-3 lighter ships( like the one weapon /fighter slot ships) this would make your fleet more interesting to arrange and give more build flexibility.
An addition to this would be special ships for example a ship that has a strong shield but only one direction or specialises in point defence to add more tactically interesting decisions when arranging the fleet.

Recruitable allies
Similar to the current system of hiring but you would have one permanent auxiliary slot in you fleet that could be filled by one of the encounter allies, they would become part of the fleet management (you can give them orders/targets etc) but you cannot change their weapons etc. This would make each game more unique as you fleet make would vary depending on which allies you encounter.

I'm playing on IOS and currently level 85 and it appears that I am not unlocking any more ships for my 2nd and 3rd ships. I would love to have more of the ships available in the start to use for my 2nd and 3rd ships - i.e. I'd love to go through the game with just Hurricane assault ships of just destroyers.

Also, it would be fun to have more weapons (like Vulcans) available to buy in the game. I would love to have a ship with just one weapon type, like just Vulcans), but you can not find enough of them. Could the feature be added to have more weapons available?

What are some of the most powerful weapons in the game? and how rare are they? I personally love the Celestial Ion Cannon MKII
and the shield drainers.

The battlestation games are simply amazing! I let the small size think they were small games for my phone but I have to admit these are expansive and impressive titles, deeper in my opinion than FTL.

Which makes me wonder why there is no fanfiction yet.

How cwn a universe like this not have fanfics? Id like to try my hand at something quick but could use some ideas. If there are other fanfics I'd love to read them. Please point me in the right direction.
